NAHC’s newsworthy projects are hitting the headlines
The National Affordable Housing Corporation celebrated three projects on May 13 with an event at Willowview Heights featuring officials from all three levels of government, representatives from our partner organizations, and residents of the Willowview Heights complex.
Celebrating the Willowview Heights project in Saskatoon, the Plainsview Townhomes project in Regina, and the upcoming Aspen Ridge project in Saskatoon, the event recognized the support for these projects from the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation’s National Housing Strategy, as well as support from municipalities, and governments of Saskatchewan and Canada under a joint bilateral agreement.
All three projects offer mixed market housing, which means the developments consist of mostly market-rate rental homes that help to offset the cost of affordable and supportive rentals for people in need of housing.
Between the two locations in Saskatoon, NAHC is offering 14 units that will house 19 people in need of homes at a reduced rate.
